Alloween Art Class: Paint Your Own Self-Portrait at Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

Unleash your creativity and learn how to paint your own self-portrait at Robert Burns Birthplace Museum!

Taking inspiration from the National Trust for Scotland’s current exhibition of the long-lost Henry Raeburn portrait of Robert Burns, they’re inviting visitors to try their hand at portrait painting and create a self-portrait of their own.

Local artist Patricia Candlish, who has extensive experience painting a wide range of subjects, will lead the class. The session will begin with a demonstration, followed by hands-on guidance and support throughout.

This workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities, from children keen to try a new creative activity to more experienced artists looking to develop their skills.

Please bring a photograph of yourself to use as a reference image during the workshop.

Painting aprons will be provided; however, participants are advised to wear clothing suitable for a practical art activity.
