Z1 Girls' Group

S2-S4 pupils

Girvan Youth Trust own and run Z1 Youth Bar; a dedicated youth centre in Girvan. Here young people can socialise with friends, meet new people and engage and take part in a number of groups and activities in a safe and youth friendly environment.

As well as Z1 Youth Bar, Girvan Youth Trust organise and run groups and activities in the local community.

They also work closely with various partnership agencies such as Community Learning & Development (CLD), local and rural schools, Girvan Community Sport Hub and many more, to offer a wide range of opportunities and support for local young people.

Z1 Girls' Group is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and creates opportunities for girls to take part in a broad range of activities with a strong focus on health and wellbeing.

Activities include cooking, arts and crafts, health and fitness and issue based workshops. The group also fundraise locally and encourage and support the girls to take on leadership roles within their group. 

Z1 Girls' Group is based in Z1 Youth Bar, Girvan, on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 7.30pm for all girls in S2 to S4.
