Anyone of any age who lives, works or studies within South Ayrshire can join the library service. Membership is free.

Libraries are not just about books. They are also used for lots of different activities including: book groups, exhibitions and displays, talks, author visits and fun story times, crafts and competitions to keep younger readers busy.

You can keep up-to-date with all these activities, library news and events by visiting the events calendar available on their website.

Come along to Alloway Library on the first Thursday of the month from 14.00pm to 15.00pm for coffee and chat.

Usually there is a guest speaker followed by a chance to have a chat and make new friends.
