South Ayrshire Swim Team
South Ayrshire Swim Team (SAST) is a thriving and growing swim club based in Prestwick, Scotland. SAST was formed in 2001 when clubs from Ayr, Troon and Prestwick merged to share resources and pool facilities to form a larger, more competitive and inclusive club which caters for young and older swimmers of all abilities.
Their pathway provides swimming opportunities for everyone. Working closely with South Ayrshire Council and Scottish Swimming, they are run by an elected Committee of parents, coaches and volunteers. SAST has charitable status under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 [SC050025].
They are a swimming club who looks to develop life skills through the challenges that the sport brings. They offer competitive and non-competitive options, from swimmers aiming to compete at the highest levels of the sport to swimmers looking to just maintain fitness and see friends.
