The OiR is an organisation for those over the age of 50.
Their main aim is to tackle loneliness in the elderly, particularly those living on their own, by offering Opportunities in Retirement through a wide range of organised activity groups.

OiR Ayr offer over 50 indoor pursuits, and nearly 20 outdoor activities. These groups meet in various venues around Ayr and Prestwick.
The indoor groups include educational, physical activity and leisure activities. The outdoor groups include walking and cycling.
