Girvan Living With Leisure Group

Girvan Living with Leisure Group offers social opportunities to older people aged 50 years and over from Girvan and South Carrick.

A pre-planned 26 week programme of speakers on a range of interesting topics is offered with afternoon teas, lunches and outings organised.

Members enjoy meeting with friends and make new friendships rather than being isolated at home.

In summer 2021 some members socialised outdoors in the sheltered Girvan Community Garden with refreshments and learned about the garden. It is hoped that this might be an annual opportunity.

The group meets on Monday afternoons (from October to March) from 1.30pm to 3.30pm in Girvan Community Centre, 82 Dalrymple Street, Girvan.

Members are welcome to enjoy a friendly atmosphere with refreshments.
