The Carers` Centre offer specialist information, support advocacy and advice, respite away from the role in the form of day trips, health and wellbeing services, social activities and peer support from fellow carers. If you are an unpaid or family carer of almost any age you can access support from the Carers` Centre in South Ayrshire. The person receiving care can be a relative, friend or neighbour.

Carers Gateway South Ayrshire's walking group is open to carers in South Ayrshire.

The group meets once a month between April and August for a variety of walks in Ayr, Troon and Prestwick.

Organisers ask that carers who wish to attend have a reasonable fitness level and wear suitable walking shoes and bring along a jacket, water and snack.
