Ayrshire Cancer Support: Children & Young People Boxercise Sessions

We provide emotional, practical and social support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. Whether you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, are having treatment, caring for someone with cancer, or are bereaved through cancer, we can help.

Our services are delivered by professional and experienced staff, and volunteers and include:

Drop-in ~ a calm, welcoming space to meet our support team, have some time alone, or find out more about our services. Open Monday – Friday 10am-4pm no appointment necessary.

Cancer Support Specialists ~ registered oncology health professionals who can assess your needs, develop a support plan, or liaise with your clinical team.

Children and Young People Support ~ a specialist team who provide one to one and group support to children and young people up to age 25.

Counselling ~ one to one talking therapy to help navigate the challenges of cancer or bereavement.

Patient Transport ~ a door to door volunteer-led transport service to help you get to hospital appointments.

Complementary Therapies ~ therapies that can help promote relaxation, or relieve the symptoms of cancer and it’s treatment e.g. reiki, oncology massage, reflexology, Indian head massage and facials.

Groups, Courses & Workshops ~ a range of events to learn, share experiences, and connect with others.

Information Service ~ access to specialist cancer information and resources from local and national organisations.

Ayrshire Cancer Support's CYP Boxercise sessions are not only great fun but they can also promote positive health and wellbeing and help connect young people from across Ayrshire who have been affected in some way by cancer.
